DREAM OF THE WORLDS  is a story about the end of our world's Quarantine.  
Earth had been off limits to the millions of alien worlds inhabited by intelligent beings capable of reaching her.  This Quarantine was imposed about four thousand years ago, because they had gotten involved in our ancient wars.  Now Earth's Quarantine is about to lifted.  This will happen at the time of our official Contact.  But this is not so easily done, since there are forces on Earth who would rather not have this contact happen, as it would threaten their power base.  Also, the alien civilizations are powered by a very different technology from the one used on our world.  It involves Dreaming, and they are mindful of the consequences that would occur should they announce themselves before we are ready to receive them.  So they had to send down scouts first, to see how they could merge their reality with ours in their so called Dream.  Paul is one of these scouts, and this is largely his story.  After his landing, he is being sought out by U.S. Government agents.  But this is not just his story, but a story for all of us.  When Contact happens, it will affect us in ways that we can now only dimly perceive.  And it will happen.  Enjoy the show.
