A very interesting post John and it seems to track with my investigation of spooky action, time, causality and how those factors would appear to an observer from a distance in a multi-universe.

I have been investigating the concept of multi-universes, time, gravity and probability as an outgrowth of my work with ALhazen's Billiard problem and the Quatrix of Hippias which uses the irrationality of Pi as a way to trisect angles and solve the Billiard Problem geometrically using compass and ruler. This solution to both of these problems implies the existance of other universes and an infinite open ended model of creation.

Again good work. Hope you post more

HI Ivan,

Just here at the local university. I have just been offered a job with a major defense firm doing strategic planning back in the DC Beltway.

Not sure if I will consider it. It would involve working with the presidential staff, congress and the pentagon again. Back on the coverert side of world power and politics.

At this point in my life, I am not sure if I am up to that game once again. I spent 20 plus years breaking codes and helping build advanced computer systems, artificial intelligence and doing game theory at the highest levels, beating the best comnputers in DOD with regards to predictive analysis.

At some point you have to walk away and focus on life.

Last night I spent an hour as part of university project sitting and talking with a severly retarded but realtively high functioning 81 year old man that spent most of his life locked in a brutal institution because he was retarded. He now lives in clean safe group home.

He asked me if I was a friend or enemy. I told him I was a friend. He asked me also what I would do to my enemies and I told him that I would just tell them to go away.

He is a very gentle soul on his final journey. I promised to bring him pictures of my trips from around the world to look at. He asked me to tell my wife and dughter hello when I left.

What and how does that compare to being one of the men that would once again help run the world from behind the covert curtain, walking back from the light to the shadow wars once again.

I spent 24 years in the military during the course of it I helped kill tens of thousands, and help save and free millions.

If took that job I would have to uproot my family and once again pick up the sword to stand in front of the war college helping plan operations that would alter the course of history.

Life sometimes offeres you choices, who is to say what is the right path.

I suspect that I will turn the job down. My days in the shadow wars are over. To stand in front of the War College and lecture once again is something I always wanted but it comes with a price. I have cleansed my soul of most of my baggage of decades of killing for my country.

I suspect that the old retarded man saw more than he could say. God speaks in mysterious ways sometimes.

On August 4, 1964 the USS Maddox and the C. Turner Joy were involved in what history has termed the Gulf of Tonkin incident. This incident was used to justify our entry in Vietnam on a large scale.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Tonkin_Incident

Congressional hearings after the war and thousands of declassified documents latter show that 90 percent of the intelligence relating to the matter showed the NVA had nothing to do with the incident and were omitted from the reports sent to the White House.

The same tactic of cherry picking and discarding intelligence was used to drag us into the War in Iraq by mid to senior level career intelligence officers for political purposes.

About two decages ago the CIA authored a study on social, environmental and political trends that were likely to impact on the world situation. Global Warming, drought, disease the rise of militant religous leaders were projected as the World's environmental conditions deteriorated. This study was done by a pannel that included the best minds in academia.

It has served as the blue print for our intelligence policies since its writting almost two decades ago. Hence why and how the information on Iraq was misinterpreted and what our real aims and objectives are as we move into the period of Global Climate Change despite the talk of the Current Administration.

Hi Ivan,

While I was stationed in Southern CA, I wanted to go see the Salton Sea but never got the chance. I hope to get the chance one day.

In a matter pertaining to gravity and earthquakes that should be probably posted on your other thread, I just noticed that the Earth on Jan 4 2006 0900 CST reached perihelion, its
minimum distance from the Sun.

This roughly coincided with the lunar perigee that occured on Jan 1 2006 and a series of large quakes that occured in and along the bands we have been watching and along the edges of the polar ice caps during the period 1-4 Jan 06. I also noticed a discontinutity in the gravitational data from the Czech gravity meter on 4 Jan 2006 in conjunction with the strong earthquake in the Gulf of California on 4 Jan 2006. This meter measures the direct tidal effects of gravity on the earth as a result of planetary forces the sun moon ect.

http://pecny.asu.cas.cz/www/tidmease.html

There were also a couple of spikes in the earth's magnetic field strength above the poles at about the same time.

We also had spikes in the sun's x-ray flux measurement that preceded the earth reaching perihelion.

In all, all the indicators I have been watching with regards to my gravitational visualization seemed to mesh with my predictive model. As to the rest I am trying to figure it out.

Hi Ivan,

I have been very busy lately and have not been tracking the earthquake patterns as I did in the past, but had a feeling that the 7.5 in Africa was likely a result of a complex interaction of forces at the systemic level. The precurser pattern indicated to me stress was being built and released and that a major quake was likely as I have predicted in the past.

Like I said I have been busy working geometry and I am also recovering from a Cold and Sinus infection:-(

I suspect like I projected earlier that this quakes is just one of a number that will occure now that the great plates in the Pacific shifted and changed the stress relationship of the whole system.

PS The destruction of the Golden Dome of the mosque in Iraq does not leave me with a good feeling.

On Sigmund Freud

http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/civilization/cc0012.html

As Freud was dying, Hitler was coming to power. Freud prophetically saw the power of the death wish in the modern world and was unsure which of these two “heavenly forces,” as he called them, would win out. He died an atheist but almost a mystic. He had enough of the pagan in him to offer some profound insights, usually mixed up with outrageous blind spots. He calls to mind C.S. Lewis' description of pagan mythology: “gleams of celestial strength and beauty falling on a jungle of filth and imbecility.”

Freud's work along with a number of his contempories has given rise to the de-christinization of the Western World and was used by Fredriche Nietzche to validate his philosophy and which in turn was adopted by the Nazi's and incorporated into Fascism.

Now I do not say that Freud or modern mental health medicine is not needed, however, we need to recognize that it has its dark side like many other things and that it helped in a large way to give rise to Hitler. Some thing the modern scientists wish to forget.

We’re hard-wired for geometry
Tests with Amazon villagers hint at innate geometrical sense

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10925120/

Ivan a very interesting post that relates to what we are talking about. In terms of design only we an our cousins the great apes have the ability to perceive and intuitively see geometry. A subject that the greeks spent thousands of years studying with compass and ruler, discovering that it is possible with the mind to behold perfection and discover a fragment of the design of creation.

This recent research goes back to what you were saying about teaching our distant ancestors a thousands of years ago about Einsteins work.

Is it an aspect of evolution or is it a comming to understand that we are part of an order in the universe and that we can through geometry and math and science, unlike the other creatures on this planet, glimpse the nature of creation and god and the forces that make up this universe.

In his mental wanderings Dr. Nash went far into the nature of creation and retuned with knowledge of geometry that we are still trying to understand. Much like I did with the solution to the Billiard Problem and trisection of the angle.

Food for thought to look upon the face of creation in your mind and see its order is like to look upon the face god. Something those that can't and don't believe in God wish they could do and hate those that can do it.

PS I just had my health check up and except for exposure to anthrax and a 1200 times normal level neuro toxin residue in my blood's immune system I am perfectly healthly. Save by the grace of god, jesus christ and the angels and saints, and fast EMS response and good drugs, I survived a 1200 time lethal dose of neuro toxin. Just like the 1000 times normal dose of dioxin given to Yushenko in Georgia. Someone wanted us both dead and I suspect it was Vladimir Alexandrovich Kryuchkov ex chairman of the KGB. The dosages of both agents is too close to be coincidence

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor_Yushchenko#Alleged_Dioxin_poisoning

The above link discusses Yushchenko's poisoning with Dioxin. It was over 1000 times the normal limit. The second highest ever recorded in a human.

Yushchenko's chief of staff Oleg Ribachuk has suggested that the poison used was a mycotoxin called T-2, also known as "Yellow Rain", a Soviet-era substance which was reputedly used in Afghanistan as a chemical weapon.

My blood tests performed by Duke Univeristy confirm a 1200 time normal exposure to a neuro-toxin, verified by MRI and EMG tests.

The poison that affect both Yushchenko and myself came from the KGB's Kamera laboratory. This lab was designed to produce toxins that would mimic mysterious symptoms that would be misread as natural causes. It was a very nasty piece of work and it is still rumored to still be in use by the Russians.

I have included a link to it bellow from a article produced by the Wall Street Journal.

As I said a nasty piece of work that leads all the way back to Vladimir Alexandrovich Kryuchkov, and the bombing of Panam 103 over Lockerbie. Vladimir Alexandrovich Kryuchkov used the full resources of the KGB to mask his hand in the bombing of Panam 103 and set up fall people, cutouts and dead ends to cover his tracks. He coupled that with intentional disinformation with the goal of directing the United States response to the Middle East a master stroke of poison, ploting and geo-politics. It was one of the reasons he was selected to head the KGB, an organization staffed at the highest levels by paranoid genuses

Operation Marabu, the Soviet plan to drag the United States into a conflict in the Middle East and bring about the destruction of the State of Isreal.

The pieces of the plan are what we face now and the results of it are behind part of the anger that we face in the Middle East. Hence why the old Chief of the KGB was called back to write papers on the Middle East.

I faced him and his agents once before in the Cold War.

We describe a elegant little zero-knowledge identification scheme, based on the impossibility of trisecting an angle using ruler and compass operations. It was dated 1999 and is a bit out of date given my work with the billiard problem and trisection of the angle using the irrationality of pi. I found a solution to breaking quantum codes in that effort. Its related to the factor that makes pi an irrational number. Couple that factor to compass and ruler and it forms the solution to breaking quantum encrypted systems. Hence my early posts about the work showing that a compass and ruler can act as a simple bionary computer. That with the geometric processing part of my brain allows me to perform complex geomtric functions. It also allows me to decrypt embeded images and messages coded in pictures and text qued to radio and televison broadcasts. Although it takes me a long time to do that its also possible.

Hence the race to develope algorythms from my geometry. The solution of it has application to the breaking of quantum codes like the old enigma code was broken by the code breakers in WWII. A further outgrowth of the equations and algorythms is a better understanding of quantum mechanics and its application to the axiomatic equations.

Not bad for some geometric work with compass and ruler.

PS one a side note I started mapping out the network conenctions.

Targeting and Intelligence Support for the PANAM 103 came from the intelligent agent networks I identified operating under the auspices of Operation Ryan

Execution of the attack came and was facilitated by the GRU/KGB, Czechs and the STASI under the auspices of operation Marabu using a terrorist agent trained by the KGB/GRU in the 1970's.

I have yet to start further defining the network of information flow that would reveal all of the contacts and agents involved in this but I am close.

One note recent evidence has surfced that the timer in the Lockerbie bombing was actually traced based on its manufacturing markings to the East German STASI, which via the Soviets were providing assitance to the PFLP-GC. This with the Czechs providing the simtex and east germans the timer and PFLP-GC the man-power and bomb couriers lead to PANAM 103.

One thing I am concerned about is that one of the bombers linked to operation autumn wind is now in Sewden serving a sentance for bombing a target there. This puts him in proximity to the Head of Ansar AL Islam terrorist movment that was based in Northern Iraq. He is now living in Norway pending extradition.

I suspect that we may have an overlapp of two terorist netorks that was developed in the scandinavian countries.

When the complete history of the War between the KGB/GRU and the CIA/DOD MIlitary Intelligence is written. We will find many things like PANAM 103 that because of the implications are and were swept under the rug of cover-up and denial.

The Shadow Wars were and are bing waged around us on a daily basis.

What I have done here is to illuminate one battle in that grand conflict that was the Cold War. Agents, spies, intelligence terrorist bombs, cut-outs and the rest. High Drama set against the collapse of the Soviet Empire that at its hieght spanned the globe, greater in strength than Rome in many respects.

A titanic struggle that shaped the world we live in with its fall-out.

Brave men and women that fought the cold war and did many things they regret and took many risks. Lies deciet and plausable denial were the tools of the trade we had to use to keep this planet alive.

In crisis after crisis in the shadows they fought. bled and died. In bombed buildings and airliners, in cars and by assasins bullets and bombs. In far off cities and jungles and in obscure foreign locations they bled their lifes blood into the soil.

As our Cold War generation marches into middle and old age, I wanted to prove and show the world what we did and could do when faced with the destruction of this planet.

I was just one member of a team, with unique skills and abilities. Trained by the best.

I have just about finished my midterm exams and currently hold a B to A average despite brain damage.

Now think back to the old days and how close it came and what held back the darkness. We have set the mark you must match if you are to take us to the stars and build upon our work.

Remember this when faced by terrorists, you have resources within you that you have yet to tap.

Hi Ivan

I have attached a couple of intersting links that talk about neo - Nazis and Hezbollah being possibly tied to the anthrax attacks by FBI sources.

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/printer-friendly.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25290

http://discardedlies.com/entry/?14059

Information is circulating now regarding Hezbollah and a smuggling ring they set up in Mexico to move men and material accross the border with assistence of south american neo-nazi's.

When I and the CIA was anthraxed in Mexico at a dinner party it was just before the First Lady visited the embassy. I suspect that she was a target along with the president.

The local CIA reps I was having dinner with were responsible for coordinating Presidential security along with the Secret Service and FBI.

Then came the anthrax in boquet of flowers and Hezbollha and the neo-nazi's.

A bit of light on a dark secret in Mexico that has chilling implications in the Shadow Wars.

I note my blood tests confirm anthrax exposure from mexico. The same strain as the DC attacks,

Hi Ivan,

Besides working on my geometry problems I have been researching the conduit by which the KGB had intelligence which it used along with diplomatic contacts in the Middle East, to help bring about the destruction of PANAM 103.

The following unclassified website documents the breaking of the code systems used by Middle East Governments by the United States, Germany and the UK, along with the Swiss. This compromise of the code breaks was discovered by the STASI intelligence service of the Former East German Government and shared with the Soviets. This information was passed by Soviet and Warsaw Pact agents back to Moscow centre to the head of the KGB at the time.

http://www.waynemadsenreport.com/nsa/crypto.htm

It was an outgrowth of the Soviet Operation Ryan, a summary of which can be found at the following website. Of which I was identified by the KGB as a key player in the nuclear targeting of Soviet forces.

http://www.cia.gov/csi/monograph/coldwar/source.htm

What happened was that MOSCOW center was reading both our cyptographic mail about our forces curtesy the Conrad spy ring and our decoded traffic about the Middle East. They saw both sides of the situation in terms of what the Middle East Governments were saying about things and what we thought and and were doing about it. They used this information to steer us and the Middle East into a collision course in trying to get us bogged down there as we bogged them down in afghanistan.

Until the Bush admistration took office the senior leadership of the United States intelligence community had a bad feeling about what was going on and stayed out of being dragged into a Middle East Conflict. Bush and his religous allies purged the government and mility of us experienced analysts that harbored suspicions about the situation and how badly we were compromised. We suspected the KGB hand in events and until all of this was put together never knew how extensive the operation was and that in MOSCOW centre they were reading our mail and the Middle East Government's mail on a daily basis and then using their contacts, agents and diplomcy to stear things against us.

PANAM 103 was only one of the bits of fallout from this compromise of secrets by Moscow Centre.

Old Cold War opertions that changed the course of the world. The head of the KGB asnd his planning team used to drink Russian Tea in the morning as they read both our and the Middle east Governments mail. They made decsions over tea and cookies each day of how to hurt us by facilitating things like PANAM 103. They also used it to settle old scores and inflame hatred against the west in the middle east as they moved in with diplomacy and econmic deals to gain access to the cash the oil producing conutries had. This strategy worked and we are now dealing wth the legacy of this old KGB Moscow center operation. Hence why the old head of the KGB is now providng Putin with position papers on Iran and the Middle East.

At its height of its Power Moscow center influenced events around the Globe. In its dying days Moscow Center sought to bring us down with every resource it had.

Hence what we are faced with now.

Just as a side note

In 1999 a copy of my medical report confirming my first exposure to nerve agent from the 1st Gulf War was presented at a Medical Conference in Lebenon. It was at this point that the information about me was passed to Hezbollah and then back to the terrorist cell being run out of the University of Florida at Tampa where I was going to go for a neuro-toxin screening to identify the type of nerve agent I was exposed to during the 1st Gulf War.

When I broke the penetration of our computer system in New Delhi India during the Indo-Pak Nuclear Crisis I was routed to Mexico. This tripped a red flag to Hezbollha who thought I was being brought in to break the smuggling ring they set up in Mexico with Neo-nazi support from Central America.

The KGB/GRU provided data to Hezbollha like they did during the run up to the bombing of PANAM 103. Using cut outs and plausable denial.

Same old players in the Great Game. Same stakes.

Hi Ivan,

I have been playing with the geometry of the Billiard Problem and found that I can from that problem's solution, with compass and ruler, continue the geometry to generate a Hexagon and then a perfect cube.

This is a very complicated but straight forward bit of geometry that links the solution of the Billiard Problem to the generation of a multi-dimentional construct, in this case a perfect cube using only compass and straight edge.

The geometry of the problem and its history is such that I believe what the ancient Greeks and Alhazen were attempting explore in this problem was related to the nature of light. By extending the geometry to include the generation of a perfect cube I believe that I may have begun to see with the help of geometry is a relationship between light and multi-dimenstional space time, with an implication for a better understanding of gavity.

I can also trisect the resulting angles as well and I believe that as we have discussed earlier that all of this is related to a demonstration of a practical application of irrationality of Pi

Still working on it

PS I am close to being able to double the cube as well as square the circle using this same application of the irrationality of Pi.

More food for thought...and they told me I was too old and out of date to be an intelligence analyst.

I used to work for Cubic Defense applications as a senior software program analyst then the CIA put me out in the line of fire and I got brain damage from the experience due to poisons.

No pun intended but I like working with Cubic Defense, which until I ran into a bunch of money hungry corrupt ex KGB and other intelligence officials selling their services to the highest bidder for revenge against those that helped win the Cold War, was doing just fine.

As I sit here having finished expanding the Billiard Problem. I think back to the old days of the KGB and its affiliated agent networks from the Cuban DGI to the East German Stasi and the downing of PANAM 103. Its cold here today but the house is warm and I am working on a paper for a class I am taking in modern American history.

One day I expect someone with knock on the door and ask me if I am the guy that trisected the angle, served his country with honor and distinction across the globe and solved the Billiard Problem with compass and ruler. I will tell that person yeas I am. Then I will tell him that save for the CIA, corporate greed and incompetant buerocrats I would be working in Florida in a nice house at NASA training the next generation of space pioneers.

The following is a link to a interactive website that demonstrates C. A. Laisants construction that allows for the trisection of the angle. The construction consists of two parallelograms and a couple diagonals

http://www.jimloy.com/cindy/trisect1.htm

If you used the device on the interactive website to push the trisection problem to 180 degrees you will find it exactly matches my trisection of that same angle using compass and ruler.

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/edwardchesky/album?.dir=/66d7&.src=ph

The curve I used to trisect that angle is clearly outlined in the diagram I drew.

The equation I discussed above associated with this curve I believe is related to the irrationality Pi and as demonstrated by Ivan in his axiomatic equations central to the construction of the Universe. I believe it also like Dr. Nash's work has application to general relativity.

C. A. Laisant in 1875 developed a technique for trisecting an angle. When that technique is applied to trisecting a 180 degree angle it perfectly matches the solution I put on my website for the trisection of that same angle using a compass and ruler.

Modern geometry addmits that using a curve it is possible to trisect an angle. zzIn fact many curves have been identified that can do that. What I have done is identify a curve capable of doing that that can be constructed using comapss and ruler. The equations relating to that curve are tied to the manefestation of the irrationality of Pi and has application to quantum mechanics and the axiomatic equations. By demonstrating the application of this curve I feel that it must be related to an equation that allows for the extraction of data from Pi.

Its a very difficult concept to verbalize and its difficult for my to frame it due to brain damage in terms that I can readily convey. But through the application of this curve what I believe I have done is indicate that it is possible to define an equation that allows for the extraction of data from an infinite data set. In this case that data set is represented by the Irrationality of Pi.

The application of this equation to quantum mechanics is I feel a way to deal with the random factor that is a manefestation of quantum theory.

Hope to post more on this subject as I develope the energy to deal with the damage to my Central nervous System that I have sustain in line of duty in Defense of My Country.

The following website offers a good discussion of the trisection problem and begins to shed some additional light on what I and Dr. Nash and a few others have been exploring with regards to geometry and angle trisection.

According to a traditional classification used in antiquity there are three types of problems in geometry: plane, solid, and linear

Angle trisection using using a strickly plane approach is impossible with compass and ruler, however that said, it is and has been demonstrated that angle trisection is possible using the techniques of solid geometry, which results in the generation of solid geometric shapes, conic sections and curves.

In effect a solution to the trisection problem that makes use of non-Euclidean space, which in turn is related to the geometry used to develop the current model of the universe we have and general relativity. It is also why Dr. Nash mentioned the fact that his solution to a geometric problem has some application to general relativity and gravity.

Hence the relationship with geometry, pi and the axiomatic equations we have begun to explore here.

As one poster said earlier, some times you have to go back to the begining to make a great leap forward.

Pulling this data togehter took a lot out of me and I need to rest.

Hope to post more later

PS It was said to be impossible to trisect the 60 degree angle using compass and ruler. The 180 degree angle trisection I came up with using compass and ruler proves that wrong as it is merely 3 times a 60 degree angle.

C. A. Laisants construction and my solution share a comon component in that both solutions require the construction of geometric shapes in order to trisect the angle.

By focusing on this relationship between the two approaches we begin to look for the common factor identified by the Greeks ages ago in terms of shapes and the relationship between them and the tools used to create them.

The comon factor is the circle and Golden Ratio that lead to the discovery of Pi.

besides application to the axiomatic equations, these geometric solutions have application to the field of cryptology, quantumn physics and advanced computing. The following link is to a center established to explore the application of geometry as it applies to advanced computing.

http://www.cs.brown.edu/cgc/

AS I stated and demosntrated earlier the use of my geometry has application to the breaking codes based on quantum technology. Allowing for the extraction of data from encrypted systems. This is an outgrowth of the ability to extract data from an infinite data set, which is the basis of quantum encryption systems.

Its an outgrowth of the old enigma project during World War II. Which involved the work done by Max Planck, Bohr and a number of others that was used by the mathmeticians at Benchly Park to break the U-boat codes.

In going back to C. A. Laisants work on trisecting the angle, I was struck by the fact that his trisection device, illustrated in the website I posted above is a fragment of a hyper cube and that if we continued the geometry we would be able to construct a geometric representation of a hyper-cube.

This work grew out of C. A. Laisants work with Giusto Bellavitis's exploration of polygons and Bellavitis's work that grew out of August Möbius' work.

I have attached two website links to biographical information on C. A. Laisant and Bellavitis.

http://www-history.mcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/Mathematicians/Bellavitis.html

http://encyclopedia.jrank.org/KRO_LAP/LAISANT_CHARLES_ANNE_1841_.html

I also note certain personality and biographical traits that I share with C. S. Laisant. Interesting correlation in terms of the psychological factors that are related to geometrists.

Hi Ivan,

the following is a link to a site by a man that has also trisected the angle using compass and ruler.

http://www.euclidchallenge.org/

I did my trisection work as a child.

The techniques used are similar but not the same. Both techniques push beyound traditional Euclidian geometry into the area that Enstien was exploring. I also used it to solve the Billiard Problem taking it beyound the above website which also shows it can be used to double the cube and square the circle.

We now have two documented solutions to trisecting the angle and one that takes it the next step to solving the billiard problem.

I have pushed it further into its relavance to general relativity which took me to the idea of a micro-black hole inside the suns core, which you have demonstrated mathmatically.

We are approaching a nexus point in understanding how all of these relate.

Interesting concept now that we have two documented solutions as well as two solutions to the billiard problem one by an Oxford Don and myself.

I feel very excited about htis because I can start to see how all of this starting to come together in terms of geometry and mathmatics as well as physics and cosmology.

http://www.trisectionunraveled.com/sample.htm

The above is a link to an interesting website that deals with proof of trisecting and angle. In the discussion forum of the site there are two other postings that link to sites that have proof of trisecting an angle. What is all common about these proofs is that they all require the construction of polygons to solve the problem.

They do not take the proof to the next stage of linking it to the hypercube but provide good insite into the geometry of the problem set that represents the trisection of angle.

All in all very good work that builds on Mobius work C. A. Laisants work and the others that explored the relationship between polygons and the trisection of the angle and the bridge between plane and solid geometry.

I will be taking a trip to South America in a few months and hope to get some first hand data on the effect of Global Warming from the local people on South America.

I am a firm believer that first hand data is essential to scientific reasearch and that the people who make their living off the sea and the land, generation after generation, are likely to be among the first to spot changes that for reasons of politics scientists in the current United States Government administration deny.

During my trip I will be on the coast of Brazil and will have the opportunity to see the effects of global warming on the coast line and run off from the Amazon basin in terms of frequency of storms, impact on fishing, costal errosion, deforestation and over development. I wil be going during the height if the Hurricane Season

My hope is that while I am down there I can expand my network of friends and like minded thinking peoples of all relgions, races and political views to share data among ourselves regarding the issue of global warming and start a dialog at the grass roots level about practical econmic development measures that need to be undertaken in the face of the effects of global climate change.

I hope to share my experience in the politcal, military area in fighting the abuses of power by tolatarian regimes like the old Soviet Union and teach the people about peaceful revolutionary techniques similar to the ones that brought down South Africa's, Georgia's and the Soviet Union's tolatarian regimes.

To bring about peaceful change on the scale needed to combat the effects of Global Warming and establish the framework by which we can coordinate peaceful economic projects and development in a coherent way to migigate the effects of global climate change we need to build a movement similiar in scope and scale to Al Qeada at the grass roots level, but one that is based on peaceful coexistence and which uses the same tools of internet communications, agents and politicians to coordinate its activity, goals and objectives.

In this fight in the shadows, groups of people driven by hateful ideology will fight those who offer a message of coexistence and try to promote peace and sane economic development policies. The powers of greed, entrenched wealthy elites, and entrenched political interests are what we face in opening such a dialog.

My wife was there when South Africa's government fell. I was there when the Berlin wall fell. Both of us have long served the military and intelligence communites and the christian churches. Each of us have friends in a network that spans the Globe.

I am I direct descendent of the Mayflower and among the founding families of the United States. My wife is from one of the other founding familes of the United States and is a direct descendent of William the Conqueror and from the English Lord who fought the fighting retreat from the forces of Joan of Arc and whose ancestors then went on to fight the forces of the taiping rebellion in China.

My lineage includes being a direct descendent of the Irish poet kings of old and less clear research indicates Alfred the Great.

Together when we travel we draw upon all resources avialable to us in this fight in the shadows against Al Qeada and act as unofficial ambassadors to humanity and the west. We move among the common people without guards, the secret service depending on local law enforcement and the people for protection. We listen to the people and their complaints and in some small way show them that the Christian west has many of its own warrior poets that can match the terrorists blow for blow and can wield science and technology for the betterment of their people.

We in the west long ago grave up the dream of establishing a theocractic totalarian form of goevernment because of the painful lessons we learned about the abuses such a government inflicts upon the people.

Al Qeada and its ilk have yet to learn that lessson and dream the dream of establishing the Calaphite once again.

Reguarding that dream, I say this, the time for that dream is long over. This is an age of science, technology and economic development and seperation of Church and state. Those that embrace these concepts will prosper those that do not will fall to the wayside.

Shift in focus on the War Against Terror.

As per my discussion over the last year I am concerned about a shift in focus in the War on Terror from the Middle East to Africa. Recent unclassified intelligence reports and information confirms that Nigeria is on the cusp of becoming a battleground in the next phase in the War on Terror being masterminded by the Islamic Militant network that includes Al Qaeda.

At present economic forces of supply and demand for oil have pushed the price of oil to new highs. At present, according to economists, there is an 84 million barrel a day shortfall in oil production that is driving the price of oil up. Due to disruption of efforts to bring the Iraqi oil fields back into production and increasing demand from China, as its economy develops, the situation is likely to grow worse. AL Qaeda, and the Islamic terrorist network that it is part of, reviews and analyzes this data in an effort to modify its strategic plan. As part of that plan it has determined that Nigeria, which is a major supplier of oil to the United States is one, among an number of other places, that they can strike at to increase economic disruption of the western economy. Analysis of Al Qaeda’s operations clearly indicate that they understand market, economic and psychological forces very well and are experts of using terrorist style attacks against strategic targets to take advantage of the force multiplying effect of such an attack.

I have attached a few links that discuss this shift in focus in the War on Terrorism that has not yet been fully recognized by the United States government, although many in Government, Military and Intelligence service have been pushing for increased preventative measures in this region. In response to the press for a more active role in the area, the United States is stepping up funding for the region. However, this could very well be like closing the door to the barn after the horse has gotten out. I also note, however, that the expansion of Osama’s support base in this region has been recognized by a broad spectrum of groups that range from corporate intelligence analysts that support the oil and gas industry, to ex-diplomatic personnel and by extremist racial white Christian fundamentalist groups in the United States. What is disturbing to me is that the White Christian extreme fundamentalist groups have picked up on this development and are spinning it to further promote their hated filled, neo-nazi like ideology and world view.

I have looked at the situation in Nigeria and conclude that in order to counter the spread of Osama’s and radical Islamic influence in the nation it will take a broad based collective coordinated approach to reduce the threat level in the country to a point where it is manageable by the local government. Such an approach would include efforts to reduce government corruption, redress economic inequality, and expand access to education by all segments of the society regardless of gender, ethnic or religious affiliation. Whether or not this can be done in the near term I don’t know.

Opps on the math the shortfall in oil is the fact that would demand has risen to 84 million barrels a day from 77 million barrels a day. A gap of 7 million barrels of oil a day on the spot market on average. This gap is currently being closed by increased production from OPEC but is subject to politics and disruption of supplies by a variety of factors inclduing terrorism

Iraqi oil output is currently at about 1.4 million barrels a day due to disruptions steming from attacks against personnel and facilities.
Iraq's preven reserves indicate that it could increase production to about 7 million barrels a day. Hence Al Qaeda's focus on Iraq. If we couple that to disruption of Nigeria's oil output with is currently at about 2.4 million barrels a day we have a major problem. An attack by islamic militants against the pipeline in Northern Nigeria last December droped production by 180 k barrels a day causing a spike in prices until it was resolved and other supply sources could take up the slack.

Such events are being closely tracked by the Oil and Gas industry. With supply and demand so tight, and until new field are brought online, the use of targeted terrorist attacks is likely to continue as Osama and his allies have clearly identified a key point of vulnerability.

I expect that its likely that we will need to expand intelligence supoport to the oil and gas industry and private security forces to suppliment national security forces in securing oil supplies in the future given the factors in the world and the market place at this time.

I also suspect that until we reduce consumption that this will continue to be a major source of vulnerability for us.

Just as an aside, I am thinking of having the solution to AlHazen's Billiard problem embossed on my buisiness cards.

Once I do it I may send one back to the members of the Army Medical Board and the Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld that refused to acknowledge the validity of the First Persian Gulf War soldier's claims to nerve agent exposure, birth defects in their children and other CNS damage.

Also as an aside a former cryptographics NCO told me yesterday he has paper copies of SIGINT intercepts of North Vietnemese activity during the Gulf of Tompkin incident that got us involved in Vietnam. They are from a SIGINT aircraft that was airborne over the area t the time. They show the NVA had nothing to do with the incident but the data was suppressed for political reasons. Congressional hearings have shown the Gulf of Tompkin incident was a mistake but they never had the SIGINT intercepts to prove it was fabricated for political purposes.

Funny thing is the Vietnam Vets are still really angry about that war and are thinking of leaking them to the press.

Good Postings Ivan,

Great work.

I have added a link to some work with the billiard problem that is supposed to be impossible to solve with compass and ruler

http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Billiards.html

This site depicts the billiard problem as it relates to an elipse.

My solution is posted below

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/edwardchesky/album?.dir=/66d7&.src=ph

I like the variation of the billiard problem I came up with at the end best of all.

It was a thinking outside of the box solution to the problem.

Again great posts.
